The Sapien Women line offers more sustainable products and uses packaging made from Braskem's Green Plastic, who works to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Recently I had the opportunity to try their new Sapien Women Haircare collection. Here is my review.
Sapien Women Shampoo $31.99
Sapien Women Shampoo is made from organic Amazonian ingredients and includes Pracaxi oil, essential amino acids, proteins from the Amaranth plant and Aloe Vera to hydrate, condition and add healthy shine. This shampoo does not contain sulfates, salt, parabens or mineral oil. It also has none of the other bad stuff including BHT, EDTA, synthetic fragrances, GMOs, phthalates, alcohol or silicon. The shampoo is a bit gooey and looks like melted honey with a fabulous natural fragrance similar to mango or a tropical fruit. The smell is natural, light but not over powering. It thoroughly and effectively cleans your hair with no weighing down and leaves it feeling moisturised at the same time.
Sapien Women Conditioner $26.59
Sapien Women Conditioner hydrates the hair while controlling frizz and contains rich organic ingredients from the Amazon like Uccuba and Murumuru butters, Pracaxi, Macadamia and organic Buriti Oils, Amaranth Protein, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera that drench the hair with intense moisture, shine and softness. This shampoo does not contain sulfates, salt, parabens or mineral oil. It also has none of the other bad stuff including BHT, EDTA, synthetic fragrances, GMOs, phthalates, alcohol or silicon. It also has a luscious mango, tropical fruit smell. The conditioner leaves your hair super soft with lots of shine. I found this conditioner is very potent so a little goes a long way.
Sapien Women Leave in Conditioner $16.69
Sapien Women Leave-in Conditioner is made with Amazonian Ucuuba and Murumuru butters, Pracaxi, Macadamia and Buriti oil as well as Amaranth Protein and Vitamin E, which work together to hydrate, condition and impart health and shine to the hair. Apply to damp hair and dry. Best results follow with Sapien Women Split End Repair. It also has none of the other bad stuff including BHT, EDTA, synthetic fragrances, GMOs, phthalates, alcohol or silicon.
The leave in is one of my favorite products from the line! I love the smell soooo good like the shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a long way. It won't leave your hair looking or feeling greasy or oily, and leaves your hair looking soft and silky. This is hard to find with a natural product these days. The shampoo and conditioner are gone and I still use this. I highly recommend the leave in conditioning cream.

Suitable for all hair types, Sapien Women Split end Repair softens and repairs split ends without sticky residue or product build up. This natural and organic styling aid contains organic oils of Argan, Pracaxi, Madadamia and Buriti as well as Vitamin E and plant-based silicon derived from rapeseed (Brassica napus) a bright yellow flowering member of the mustard or cabbage family (Brassicaceae).
As with all of their products, it's free of sulfates, salt, parabens or mineral oil. It's also free of BHT, EDTA, synthetic fragrances, GMOs, phthalates, alcohol or silicon. This is another favorite product. It gives amazing shine and protection but doesn't look greasy or oily. As with the conditioner and leave in, you only need a small skirt and you're good to go!

Overall I loved trying this new, natural and organic haircare line from Surya Brasil.
